From a major construction company working on the A13 in London we were called and the opening gambit was "we have had three fatalities in two weeks, the HSE are coming and we do not know what is going wrong, can you help?"
From the outback of Australia "We want to safely weigh a wild saltwater crocodile any ideas?"
These are among the many strange challenges we have met and we are always looking for more. However if we do not have the skills, we will point you to someone who does – "winging it" is not in our skill set.
